SDG Flag Day 2026
On 24 September, join hundreds of organizations across the Netherlands in raising the SDG Flag and showing that a better future requires action today.
On Thursday, 24 September, organizations across the Netherlands will come together for National SDG Flag Day 2026, raising the SDG Flag as a visible sign of their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.
At a time when sustainability challenges are becoming increasingly urgent, visible leadership matters. Recent wildfires across Europe, alongside devastating floods in Nepal, are reminders of the environmental and social challenges our world is facing. Combined with ongoing pressures on biodiversity, water resources, and resilient supply chains, these developments underscore the need for collective action. SDG Flag Day brings together organizations of all sizes to demonstrate that progress on the SDGs depends on shared commitment.
A video message from with Randstad #TogetherForTheSDGs
"Around the world, our teams have been raising the flag for the UN’s Global Goals Week. Raising the UN Sustainable Development Goals flag is a celebration of our year-round dedication to shaping a fairer, more sustainable world of work. Guided by our Partner with Purpose framework, we focus our impact on the global goals where we can make the biggest difference." - Sandra Swinkels, Randstad
One organization leading by example is Randstad. Having participated since the very first edition in 2020, Randstad will raise the SDG Flag for the sixth consecutive year in 2026. Watch Sandra Swinkels' (Sr. Global Sustainability Specialist) video message to discover why Randstad continues to support this growing movement.
